Grammarly has unveiled a powerful suite of intelligent AI agents embedded within Grammarly Docs, its new AI-native writing surface, to assist both students and professionals across the full spectrum of the writing process.

Grammarly has launched eight to nine specialized AI agents tailored to perform specific writing tasks these include:
Reader Reactions: Predicts reader responses based on target audiences like professors or managers.
AI Grader: Offers feedback aligned with course rubrics, even estimating potential grades before submission.
Citation Finder: Locates credible sources and automatically generates formatted citations.
Expert Review: Provides subject-specific, topic-informed feedback to elevate writing quality.
Proofreader: Tackles grammar, clarity, structure, and style in line with the user’s voice.
Paraphraser: Adjusts tone, style, or audience voice—academic, professional, creative, etc.
AI Detector: Flags passages likely written by AI to help ensure authenticity.
Plagiarism Checker: Scans content against vast databases to ensure originality and proper referencing.
Pricing
All eight AI agents are now being rolled out at no extra cost for both Free and Pro Grammarly users giving widespread access to advanced tools.
However, two agents AI Detector and Plagiarism Checker are currently exclusive to Pro subscribers, with plans to extend access to Enterprise and Education users later this year.
Enterprise & Education Plans
Grammarly has confirmed that Enterprise and Education customers will also receive access to these AI agents later this year, though specific timing remains unspecified.
