Manus AI Launches Subscription Plans and iOS App

Manus AI introduced two subscription plans on March 31, alongside an upgraded AI model and a new iOS app.

The platform now uses Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 Sonnet for enhanced performance.

Key Points

The Starter plan for Manus AI costs $39 per month and offers 3,900 credits for up to two concurrent tasks, while the Pro plan is priced at $199 per month, providing 19,900 credits and supporting five tasks at once.

Subscribers can purchase additional credits through top-up packs, though the prices for these remain unclear.

Both  plans of manus subscription are now available on the Manus website and its newly launched iOS mobile app.

Previously, access to Manus AI was limited to those with invite codes, which were sometimes resold for as much as ¥50,000 (around $7,000) on platforms like Xianyu, eBay, and Goofish.

The Manus mobile app is now available on the Apple App Store in the US, although a waitlist is in place, and it is uncertain when it will be open to all users.

The Manus mobile app supports longer context inputs and improved multimodal capabilities. 

During this initial phase, access is restricted as the company scales its infrastructure and optimizes usage rates to deliver better value for its users.

Manus AI App: A New Contender in the AI Productivity Space

Manus AI’s iOS app competes with AI-powered productivity apps like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot.

While ChatGPT and Gemini offer conversational AI and general assistance, Manus AI focuses on autonomous task management with multimodal support.

Unlike Copilot, which integrates with Microsoft products, Manus provides broader task automation.

Its invite-only exclusivity also sets it apart from mainstream apps.
